SeaYou is a mobile messaging application designed to foster meaningful, sincere connections through anonymous interaction. Unlike traditional social platforms that prioritize immediate gratification, SeaYou uses a mood-driven "drift" mechanism and a gradual identity reveal process to encourage authenticity.

Current social and chat applications often feel rushed and superficial, leading to shallow interactions and pressure to maintain a curated online persona. Users lack a safe, calm digital space to share thoughts and build connections based on emotional compatibility rather than profile-level details.

I focused on designing a user experience that prioritizes calm, intention, and emotional discovery through:
Mood-Driven Interaction: I created a system where messages are tagged with specific moods (Dreamy, Curious, Calm, Playful), each mapped to distinct colors and subtle animations to build trust during the anonymous phase.

The "Feeling Bar" Logic: I designed the progression flow for the Feeling Bar, which unlocks the recipient's identity in tiers (Quotes, Voice Access, and finally Name/Photo). This ensures connections are built on conversation depth.

The final design provides a cohesive environment where anonymity is treated as a feature, not a hurdle. By gamifying the reveal process through the Feeling Bar, the interface successfully directs users to focus on the quality of their conversation. The resulting UI is intuitive, calm, and reinforces the core value of sincerity in every exchange.

Administrators and operations managers lacked a unified interface to oversee the platform's ecosystem. The primary challenges included a lack of feature control to track usage metrics or dynamically gate access to high-compute tools like AR Room Mapping and AI Mold Detection. Additionally, there was zero quality control visibility to audit field measurement accuracy, or verify AI detection confidence scores alongside siloed management for managing user roles, company storage quotas, billing logs, and automated notifications.
